The authors of the new De Gruyter publication Pschyrembel Anesthesiology have donated all of their royalties to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders). De Gruyter is also making its own contribution, thus augmenting the donated amount.
‘The authors immediately and enthusiastically agreed to our idea of donating the royalties. As the editors, we were thrilled by this decision. We wholeheartedly support the outreach performed by Médecins Sans Frontières to ameliorate the effects of disaster and disease, and are proud to honor the organisation’s work,’ said Prof. Heinzpeter Moecke, MD, one of the two editors.
‘At De Gruyter, we were impressed by the commitment of all participants, which moved us to make our own donation,’ added Dr. Till Meinert, senior editorial director for medicine and life sciences at De Gruyter.
Pschyrembel Anesthesiology is a trusted reference work for reliable and up-to-date information on anesthesiology, intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, pain therapy, and disaster medicine.
Organised like a dictionary, but with entries containing a level of detail that goes far beyond the Pschyrembel Clinical Dictionary, Pschyrembel Anesthesiology was written by an authorial team of 30 experts under the guidance of Dr. Koppenberg and Prof. Moecke.
